Monday Night

Four-Person handicap teams, going off both sides.
Blue tees; with the exception of 65+ (white tees) and 70+ (gold tees) and women (gold tees)
Tee times will start @ 5:00 pm.
League fees are $550 for non-members and $73 for members, can be paid in full, or in half on week #1 and half on week #11 ($20 convenience fee for credit card transactions)
League payment consists of green fees, USGA GHIN handicap subscription, golf genius software fee, and end of the year payouts
Will abide by normal USGA rules (with exceptions below)
Improve your lie anywhere, one club length (may not change cut of grass, no closer to hole)
Out of Bounds- play stroke only, “take” distance. Drop a ball anywhere along the flight path that the ball entered, add a stroke, and play from there. Out of Bounds is perimeter of golf course or marked with white stakes.
Sand traps will be played as rake and place
The range on #10, if you hit your ball down the hill into the range and after a few minutes you cannot discern your ball from the range balls, it is a free drop, no penalty. Drop where you best believe is closest to where your ball is at.
Double par maximum (unless hole has not been won yet by either player, then play past double par, until a winner is deemed).
The first 3 weeks will have no handicap, but after handicaps are established, results and points will then be factored back in for the first 3 weeks.
Max handicap is 18, cannot give more than 2 shots per hole.
Handicaps will adjust throughout the season factoring in each weeks play, starting after week 3.
Pick up score cards before round, turn into drop box after round. Scorecards will already have handicaps labeled on card per pairing.
Score cards need to be reviewed and agreed upon by both teams prior to turning in the card for the night. If a score is disputed, both players along with the Director of Golf will review and resolve disputes on the night of the match.

ZERO tolerance policy for fighting, anyone that engages in fighting will be removed from the league/course, fees will not be refunded.
ZERO tolerance policy for the bringing on of outside alcoholic beverages, if caught the player and entire team will be removed from the league with no refund.

21 week league
First 19 weeks is the regular season, week 20 is position round, week 21 is a team scramble week with awards and dinner to follow.
League will begin April 21st and continue until September 8th
Memorial Day (May 26th) and Labor Day (September 1) fall on Monday’s, league will not be played on these days, but will be made up on the next day after on Tuesday, May 26th, and September 2nd.

League members will receive text and emails regarding their league additionally

Within the league portal you will be able to find league standings, upcoming tee times, year long round robin schedule, weekly results, skins results, photos, league rules, and more
Optional live scoring feature will be available on the app
If needed, paper copies of the master schedule can be given out as well, please let a Woodland Staff Member know.
Each week results will be posted 1-2 days after round completion.
Each team will play every team in the league at least once and will rotate on which side they play.
If league is canceled due to inclement weather, we will add that week on at the end of the year.

Each 4-Person team will have an “A/B/C/D” player based upon their handicaps.
Each player will play against the opposing team’s “A/B/C/D” player, rotating each week in which teammates are paired together.
There are 2 points available to be won per hole, 18 in total for each match.
2 points are won if the player wins the hole (including handicap), 1 point for tie, and 0 points for losing the hole. Each team's total points will be tallied towards a season long point total

Paid out to each team at the end of the season based upon points, pay top 25% of teams.
Payouts for top 3 individual point leaders, regardless of “A/B/C/D” ranking.

$5 optional skins game (per side) will be collected day of and paid out following week.
Put skin money into skins envelope and then check name off on skins sheet to enter.
All birdie putts or better must be holed out.

2/4 team members must be present for the match to count towards points.
You are responsible for finding your own sub. Contact the course to access the master roster sub list
Subs will have a one-time $20 fee; will start at a 0 handicap, until handicap is determined
All sub information needs to be called in to pro-shop prior to noon day of.
In the case of someone not finding a sub. The match will still occur, and you will play the missing person as if they were there with their handicap. For a penalty for not showing up and or finding a sub there will be a 2-point penalty for the match.
Example: If a match finishes 9-9 against the absent players handicap, it would be adjusted to 11-7, with a max of 18 total points possible to be accumulated.
If your whole team will miss one week, please let us know. Communication with the course and fellow league members to reschedule missed matches is encouraged ahead of time.
The absent team will receive 0 points for the week and the opposing team will accumulate the same number of points as the highest scoring team that week.

Concessions or “gimmes” may be offered on a group-to-group basis at the player/teams within the pairing’s discretion. Make it loud and clear when offering a gimmie.
Birdies shots or better cannot be given as gimmes.
Players are allowed to deny any gimme and may finish out if they choose.
If a gimme is accepted you count the stroke as if it were holed (laying in four, and pick up, score is a five for that hole)
Example: If one player is in for a 4 and another player has a 3-foot putt for a 7, you could offer a gimme for the putt to help speed up play, since the hole’s match has been won.

Extra Golf is permitted for $10 starting at 4pm on the night of league
CANNOT play before the same side that league will be on
Can either play before or after league, carts MUST be in by sunset
Following play, if players choose to stay around, we will move all players to the bigger bar by #18 green for post round drinks and food
“The Woods” restaurant will be open following play for food and beverages
The restaurant will be open for league members and for the local community to come eat and drink

Two-Person handicap teams playing the Gold Tees
Tee times will start @ 8:30am and run every 7 ½ minutes after
Pay weekly: $25 for 9 holes for non-members ($5.00 discount for military)
USGA GHIN Handicap Subscription is also included in this year’s league.

Breakfast ball is allowed off the first tee ONLY. Each player is permitted an extra shot off the first tee if their first tee shot is not desirable, cannot be used on any other shot or hole, only the first tee shot of the day.

Each player will play against the opposing team’s “A” and “B” player.
There are 2 points available to be won per hole, 18 in total for each match.
2 points are won if the player wins the hole (including handicap), 1 point for tie, and 0 points for losing the hole. Each team's total points will be tallied towards a season long point total.

$40 League fee per player paid for in cash. Paid out to each team at the end of the season based upon points, every team will get paid something.
No payouts for individual point leaders

$2 optional skins game will be collected morning of and paid out following week.
All eagle, birdie, and par putts must be holed out.

You are responsible for finding your own sub (subs must be 55 years of age)
If you need help finding a sub, please contact Caleb or the pro shop.
Subs will pay the same $25 that everyone else pay; will start at a 0 handicap, until handicap is determined, and MUST be 55 or older
All sub information needs to be called in to pro-shop prior to league day.

All hazards on the course will be considered red lateral hazards, this includes out of bounds, this helps keep pace of play
Sand traps will be played as is, unless specified otherwise
The range on #10, if you hit your ball down the hill into the range and after a few minutes you cannot discern your ball from the range balls, it is a free drop, no penalty. Drop where you best believe is closest to where your ball is at.

First 16 weeks is the regular season, weeks 17-21 is the postseason bracket portion
Brackets will be double elimination
If you are eliminated from the bracket you are still encouraged to play for skins and closest to the pin chances
League will begin April 24th and continue until September 18th
Golf course aeration day is September 3rd, which is a Wednesday. It may be more than a 1 day project and we do not prefer the league postseason takes place on freshly aerated greens, so September 4th we will not play, unless specified otherwise.

Each 1 Person team will play in a round robin type schedule for the first 16 weeks, the opponents are randomly selected.
Each player will play against an opposing player, but will also be paired with 2 other players in their group. Players competing against each other will ride in the same cart.
There are 2 points available to be won per hole, 18 in total for each match.
2 points are won if the player wins the hole, 1 point for tie, and 0 points for losing the hole. Each player's points will be tallied for a year long points race to determine regular season champion and determine seeding for the postseason bracket.

Paid out players at the end of the regular season that finish in the top 25% (depending on number of players.
We will pay out top finishing places in the postseason bracket
All players will pay a $20 fee for the playoff bracket, this combined with the prize purse from the beginning of the year will fund the prize purse for each placing position in the winners and losers bracket.
Playoff bracket will be matchup format until the match is won
If a tie after 9 holes, extra hole sudden death is required, back on the 1st hole of the side played that day
If the match ends early, please play the remaining hole for skins purposes

$10 MANDATORY skins game will be collected day of and paid out following week.
You can prepay skins/ctp for the entire year (optional)
$1 per par 3 closest to the pin is also MANDATORY to get in each week
Total will be either $12 or $13 depending on the side for skins/CTP
Put skin/closest to the pin money into the envelope and then check name off on the sheet to enter.
This must be done before play begins
If you miss a week you are still responsible for paying into skins and ctp

If you are unable to make it to league, please let Caleb know

The opposing player is still encouraged to play for skins purposes
Each player is allowed up to 3 missed weeks where they will “match cards” on the following week for points purposes
The match the following week you will play your scheduled match, but your score will also count towards the previous week that you missed
If you miss more than 3 weeks, every week after you miss you will receive 0 points and the opposing player will receive the same amount of points as the highest scoring player for that specific week.
*Within reason there are exceptions for making up the match on other days to avoid the penalty and to maximize the rounds that you have paid for. Please communicate with Caleb
